Madrid Observations

1. There are lots of dogs in Madrid , Every where! All seem well trained and walk without leashes

2.Water is essential to survival...in so many ways

3. We cannot speak Spanish. At least we attempt, and laugh at ourselves

4. There should be a class in foreign map reading

5. Bathrooms are confusing. Every switch, knob, lever, and button is different then what we know.

6. They drive on the same side of the street as the U.S.A. Which means thatbour instincts for crossing the street have been helpful.

7. The plus side for getting lost is becoming very familiar with the city's metro system. Friday, we saw more below ground then above.

8. Alli could eat anchovies every day, and we both are in love with cured meats.

9. When they realize you do not speak Spanish they decide to speed up and add more words, thus making you even more confused. We, as travelers, would rather they slow down and use simple words.

10. Picnicking is the best way to eat...and way more affordable

Kait and Alli
